Room 8's Wonder Wall
We asked lots of amazing questions.Then we found lots of ways of answering them. We used our prior knowledge to answer these questions.
Danielle asked "Why do rabbits eat carrots?" and found out "because they are hungry."
Azalea and Zeke asked "Why do cows eat grass?" Zeke answered "so they don't die." Azalea answered "because they are hungry."
We read a book about bees to answer this question.
Khiyana asked "Why do bees make honey?" and found out it was for energy.
We used our prior knowledge to answer this question.
Jevahn asked "Why do cows eat grass?" He found out it was because they are hungry.
We looked at you tube clips on how butterflies fly to help answer this question.
Marama asked "Why do butterflies fly?" She answered "to lay eggs."
We looked at pictures of camouflage to help answer this question and our prior knowledge.
Huntah-Rose asked "Why are butterflies so colourful?" She found out it was so they can hide from other creatures.
Mrs Henwood bought in some different material pieces to help us answer this question.
Hera asked "Why are teddy bears cuddly?" She answered "because they are warm."
We used our prior knowledge to answer this question.
Tila asked "Why are dogs so soft?" She found out it was to keep warm.
Vivian asked "Why are kittens so soft?"
Kahn asked "Why does grass move around?" We all went out side and discovered it was because the wind moves it.
We used explanation writing to answer some of our questions, do you like our hamburger?
